About Our Team

A home-from-home and safe environment for young children in Urmston

We choose all our staff at Tiny Feet very carefully.

We have at least one qualified key leader, level 3 and level 2 staff and we also have nursery apprentices.  Every staff member at Tiny Feet is chosen for their knowledge, ability, enthusiasm, and empathy.

Each staff member has a valid first aid certificate and has an up-to-date DBS check. All staff members regularly attend training and courses set by Trafford and NDNA. These courses continuously help all our staff to further their knowledge.

Displayed in the Entrance Hall is a photograph of each member of staff with their names, what room they work in and their roles.  The main members of staff have worked at Tiny Feet for over 8 years.  The Nursery Manager has worked at Tiny Feet for over 18 years starting from a nursery apprentice to room leader then deputy and now the current nursery manager.

General Information

All staff employed at Tiny Feet are First Aid Qualified and DBS Checked (Disclosure and Barring Service).

All our staff have safeguarding training.

Relevant training is completed by all staff, selected by the nursery manager which will help the staff member gain more knowledge and extend teaching and learning.  This done through face-face training with Trafford and we are also part of the NDNA.

We are open from 7.00 – 18.00, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year.
We close for 1 week at Christmas and close on bank holidays.

You can contact the Manager by phone or email to arrange a visit to look around the nursery. Due to routines and children’s sleeping patterns we usually make appointments to look around the nursery between the times of 9.30am – 10.30am and 1.30pm – 2.30pm, as we feel this works best for the children and does not disturb their routines. After looking around the nursery if you would like to reserve a place we would ask you to fill in a registration form, which can be downloaded from the link below, and pay a registration fee.
